Thriving with an Intentional Family Identity
Thursday March 20, 2025 1:40pm - 2:30pm EDT

Homeschool families thrive when they do not simply take up space together. By intentionally creating a ‘family identity’ that embraces biblical truths as the foundation of their homeschooling worldview, a family's investment of time, resources, and prayers grows exponentially. In this session let’s build one another up as Ephesians 4:16 encourages, so come discuss ‘family identity’ and the Christian homeschooling worldview.

Embracing the Sanctification of the Homeschool Mom: Leaning Into the Growth God Has For You
Thursday March 20, 2025 3:00pm - 3:50pm EDT
204
Most of homeschooling is focused on the children. Naturally, that makes sense. They have so many needs and parents want to provide them with a solid education and create a wonderful childhood. But, let's not forget the woman behind it all: the homeschool mom! The years of pouring into and raising children can be ripe for growth in your likeness of Christ. Instead of just pushing through yet another school year with a focus on "someday," what if you lean in and use this time to become who God wants you to be?

Is Your Parents’ Divorce Negatively Impacting Your Relationships? Learn how, why, and how to overcome the impact
Friday March 21, 2025 10:30am - 11:20am EDT
204
Whether your parents divorced when you were a child or as an adult, the impact is far more reaching than the holidays “being a hassle.” Kent’s presentation explores common issues like anger, fears, unforgiveness, and spiritual challenges, that can impact adult children of divorce as well as adults who experienced their parents’ divorce as adults (Gray divorce). Given the stressors homeschooling can place on marriages, this is important information for all homeschooling spouses.

Demystifying "The Talk" (Adult Only Talk)
Friday March 21, 2025 2:10pm - 3:00pm EDT
204
Let's face it - the pressures and temptations facing young people today look very different than the pressures and temptations of even 20 years ago. The talk parents remember receiving may feel insufficient when it's time to talk to their own children. Many times, people cringe or avoid serious talks like this for fear or embarrassment of saying the wrong thing. In this session, we will discuss age-appropriate biblical principles to focus on as our children mature as disciples of Jesus.

Keep The Fun In Family – Building A Culture of Enjoying God’s Blessing of the Family
Friday March 21, 2025 5:20pm - 6:10pm EDT
204
Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” Far from being a reason for us to ask God to rubber stamp our plans, this tells us we should labor where God is already building. God has placed His blessing upon the family, so as we labor to build strong, Biblical, faithful families, we can be assured of God’s help. This session will consider the blessing God has placed upon the family, and ways we can build a culture of enjoying building the Family in our homes. This is how you Keep the Fun in Family.
